WHOLE BODY THEORY
OUR STORY
Whole Body THEORY grew from years of working directly with children and teens in schools and community recreation programs and seeing how differently young people experience health and wellness.
Some children have consistent access to nutritious foods, safe places to be active, supportive adults, and opportunities to develop healthy habits. Others do not.
Those experiences showed us that wellness is not simply about telling children to make healthy choices. It is also about whether they have the resources, opportunities, environments, and support that make those choices possible.
The idea for Whole Body THEORY began taking shape in 2020 and moved into programming in 2021. What started with movement and youth fitness continued to evolve as we listened to children, families, educators, and community partners.
Today, Whole Body THEORY brings together movement, emotional wellness, nutrition literacy, leadership, and purposeful learning experiences to help children build the habits, confidence, and life skills that support lifelong well-being.
